Aaron Wood

Aaron brings over 15 years of project management expertise, including notable roles at the University of South Florida and 3 years with the NHL's Tampa Bay Lightning. With a decade of experience managing increasingly complex projects, he consistently delivers on-time, within-scope, and within-budget results. Aaron is recognized for his strong work ethic, task-oriented leadership, and effective communication skills, fostering collaboration and stakeholder engagement. A creative problem solver and strategic thinker, he holds a Bachelor's in Sociology from the University of Buffalo, a Master's in Business Administration from the University of South Florida, and certifications in Modern Management and Business Foundations from USF.
Chris James

Chris James is a seasoned professional with 21 years of experience in Major League Baseball, having served with the Oakland Athletics, Arizona Diamondbacks, and San Diego Padres. His career has been marked by progressive finance roles, culminating in executive-level positions.
In addition to his extensive MLB experience, Chris has a background in other sports, including stints with the AAA Phoenix Firebirds, AAA Memphis Redbirds, AAA Worcester Red Sox, Arizona State University Athletics, Arizona Fall League, and Cactus League MLB Spring Training.
Throughout his career, Chris has demonstrated a proficiency in establishing and enhancing financial processes and reporting systems for organizations. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Marketing from Arizona State University and a Master's degree in Accounting from Grand Canyon University. Chris is also an inactive CPA licensed in the State of California.
Courtney Payne

Courtney began her career in museum design, focusing on creating content-driven exhibitions. A few years later, she transitioned to retail design, specializing in store layouts, window displays, and working with the global retail design team at Under Armour. Most recently, Courtney has been at Gensler, where she has worked with clients in healthcare, corporate workplaces, technology, and airports.
Hank Baarslag

Hank has seized remarkable opportunities, contributing to various visual design programs and collaborating with top-tier clients. His expertise spans from retail design to environmental wayfinding signage programs for multilevel commercial developments. Hank attributes much of his creative success to collaborative experiences, working alongside talented team members in executing impactful visual campaigns.
Mark Hawksworth

Mark brings over 35 years of executive sales, marketing, and outdoor advertising expertise to Liquid Sportsgroup, where he leads new business opportunities and development. With a robust background in account management, brand management, and driving sales results, Mark is an innovative thinker dedicated to helping clients achieve success through collaborative strategies.
A few of his clients include Starbucks, Nordstrom, Whole Foods, MOD PIZZA, and collaborates with hospitality giants like Compass, Aramark, Legends, Sodexo, HMSHost and SSP America in venues throughout North America.
Mark has a strategic knack of infusing his retail brand experience, and deep understanding of cultural trends, consumer demographics and buying behaviors, into Liquid Sportsgroup, Design and Builds.
Mark offers clients a well-rounded and informed dialogue on advanced customer experience and believes that the physical space has a crucial role in new retail… no matter where PEOPLE GATHER!
Max Enriquez

Max joined the Liquid Sportsgroup team in 2024! He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with concentrations in Marketing and Management at the University of Jamestown in 2023, where he also competed on their Men's Volleyball team. Post-graduation, he sought out to work in the sports marketing industry where he now is the Marketing Manager for Liquid Sportsgroup. Max develops and implements social media strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement. He curates compelling content, schedules posts across various platforms, and monitors analytics to optimize performance. Along with this he develops marketing decks for current and future clients as well as developing the LQD website.
Alongside being apart of Liquid Sportgsroup, Max stays involved in volleyball now as a high school and club coach. He resides in San Diego where he roots for his favorite sports teams the Padres, Chargers, and Lakers.
Scott Marshall

Scott Marshall is a co-founding partner and CEO of Liquid Sportsgroup, overseeing all business operations, hospitality consultation, and partner relations. Formerly the Chief Hospitality Officer for the San Diego Padres, Scott was charged with developing and implementing the overall hospitality strategy for the Padres and Petco Park by building brands, creating new concepts and driving fan experience.
Prior to the Padres, Scott spent 25 years with Centerplate, one of the largest hospitality companies in the world with over 300 accounts worldwide. He served as Senior Vice President of Innovation and Fan Engagement, directing the company's overall strategy for CRM promotions & programs, best practices, new innovation and emerging technologies. As Senior Vice President of Operations for Centerplate, Scott had direct responsibilities for the western area with accounts including Oracle Park, T-Mobile Park and the former Qualcomm Stadium.
Scott earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from the University of San Diego. He also attended and played football at the University of Southern California, though he now prefers a golf club and watching Trojan football. He and his wife, Nicol, reside in San Diego where he enjoys stalking his three amazing daughters on social media, enjoying San Diego Padres games, and participating on the board of Make-A-Wish San Diego.
Taylor Esoldi
Sr. Project Manager

Taylor brings over six years of project management experience while serving various roles in the United States Navy as an officer. After graduating from the Naval Academy, Taylor began his career in his hometown of San Diego, CA, serving aboard the USS San Diego as a Division Officer, managing maintenance projects for the radar, communications, and electronics division. Following selection and graduation from the Navy’s Nuclear Power program, he joined the USS Harry S Truman as a supervisor of Nuclear Reactor operations and an Assistant Department Head, where he helped lead major life-cycle projects for the propulsion and reactor training divisions onboard.
In 2024, Taylor transitioned to the sports industry, earning a Master’s in Sports Management from Columbia University. During this time, he gained hands-on experience interning with Williams Racing’s commercial and marketing strategy team and Wasserman’s creative strategy team, helping develop brand engagement strategies and commercial growth initiatives.
Virgil Enriquez

Virgil Enriquez is a seasoned professional with over 35 years of experience in the construction industry, specializing in both private and public projects. With a decade-long tenure in the Food and Beverage industry at Service America and 18 years as the owner and operator of a construction company, Virgil has honed his skills in planning, operational efficiency improvement, and team-building. He currently holds active CLSB Contractor’s licenses for Class A (engineering), Class B (building), and Class 27 (landscaping).
Virgil graduated from the University of San Diego in 1989 with a degree in Business Administration. Outside of work, he finds fulfillment in family life with his wife, Maricris Enriquez, and their four children: Donovan, Ike, Maxwell, and Ava. Additionally, Virgil is passionate about coaching football at Cathedral Catholic High School.
